Justin Gauvin moved from Canada and became a U.S. citizen, quickly realizing how complicated and confusing health insurance could be. Experiencing the system himself, he felt the uncertainty that so many people face, and he knew there had to be a better way. That experience, more than 20 years ago, inspired Justin to change his career path shifting from his original focus in biochemistry to his minor in economics, which ultimately led him to the world of finance and insurance. This transition allowed him to combine his analytical mindset with his passion for helping people. Thus, creating a career devoted to guiding others through some of life’s most important financial and health coverage decisions.
As the founder of Advising Without Borders, Justin provides personalized guidance and connects clients with the many contacts and resources available throughout the insurance industry, ensuring they have the support they need at every step. “Over the years, Justin has assisted individuals and families from around the globe, as well as everyday Americans, in understanding and navigating U.S. health insurance. Based in Wisconsin but serving clients across the country.

In 2020, he partnered with Tina-Marie Gauvin, Director of Operations, who manages the agency’s day-to-day operations to keep everything running smoothly. Together, they create a seamless, client-focused experience, allowing Justin to focus on each client’s unique needs. They are committed to helping people navigate Medicare, ACA Marketplace plans, short-term coverage, and supplemental options, making complex decisions easier to understand and manage.
